Williams Golf Gold Series FW32 Polesitter Irons 3-PWWilliams Golf Gold Series FW32 Polesitter Irons The Polesitter iron series was designed with a target on the better player. This iron is precision forged with the highest grade of steel. The iron is designed with thinner top lines and narrower soles to produce the type of look that better players long for. This iron features Densimet, a Formula 1 specific weighting system that features the second heaviest metal in the world. The combination of precision forging with the Densimet weight systems, produces the feel and playing characteristics that better players long for. The Polesitter iron features Nippon 950 steel shafts and Fujikura flow weighted graphite shafts. The Gold Series from Williams Sports will target the golfer that is looking for something outside the traditional realm of golf club styling. This series will share the same technological and 'rodynamic advancements that are the core foundation of the entire Williams Sports line. The Gold Series will separate itself from the other series by modifications to the cosmetics and finish of each product. The most noticeable and recognized difference will the exquisite 24 karat gold plating on all exposed metal surfaces. To compliment this finish, we have chosen a rich metallic color to bring out the luster of the gold plating. Densimet is the second heaviest metal in the world and is used in the FW32 race car to bring the car up to the minimum race weight, while also being used to provide additional traction based on the drivers style of driving. Traditionally golf manufacturers have used Tungsten for weighting, but the Williams Sports entire product line will utilize Densimet for its weighting purposes pushing the limits of technology used in our equipment. This advance in material allows Williams Sports to maximize design capabilities enhanced the by the reduced volume needed for Densimet usage instead of Tungsten or other materials.
